App & website building.
Websites and web apps shipped end-to-end — fast, mobile-first, built to do a job. By a senior independent operator who scopes and delivers, not a room of juniors. Most often the working front end of an AI build.
Content-first, build-once.
Every build starts from the content, not from a template. What the site has to say, to whom, and at what moment of their scroll — the layout follows from that, not the other way around.
Performance is the second non-negotiable. I aim for top-tier Lighthouse scores on mobile and treat a slow build as unfinished. That means the lightest stack that does the job — no framework bloat where a simpler build wins — and an asset budget light enough to feel instant, even on a weak connection.
Hand-off is as senior as the build. A README that an intern could follow, a deploy that's one command, and a design-token inventory so future edits don't erode the system.
How I intervene.
-
Rebuild from the content
Audit what the site has to say. Cut the 30% that shouldn't be there. Re-sequence the rest.
-
Design system, not pages
Tokens, components, layouts. If a page requires a new pattern, the pattern gets added to the system first.
-
Ship lean
The lightest stack that fits the job. No framework bloat where a simpler build wins. Top-tier Lighthouse on mobile is the target.
-
Measure, iterate once
Two weeks of live data, one round of post-launch tuning, then hand off. Not an indefinite retainer.
